Assessment Services
Seeing your child struggle in school, with friendships, or with difficult emotions like sadness, anger, frustration, and anxiety can be painful and worrisome. Drawing on her years of training and experience as an educator, Jenn focuses on building a comprehensive understanding of each child’s learning and behavior. She then helps parents and children better understand the issues at play, identifies how to leverage strengths, and determines what support is needed to help your child grow and succeed. Assessments are conducted in a warm, non-clinical, low-stress environment, with an emphasis on continuity of care and enduring, productive relationships with clients and families. Jenn provides comprehensive evaluations with detailed information about strengths and weaknesses, accurate diagnoses based on consideration of multiple sources of information, and practical, targeted recommendations. Jenn is committed to writing timely reports in language that is clear and understandable.
Assessment is available for:
- Academic issues
- Learning disabilities
- Autism spectrum and social communication disorders
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD)
- Executive functioning deficits
- Emotional issues including anxiety and depression
